It’s been ab out 7 years since we built our last website. We thought it was really cool for the time, but WOW was it’s design getting dated.
I updated it from time to time, but lets be honest. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve really done anything with it. As of today, the Red Rocket is completed and flying! But every picture on the website showed it in some state of repair. Not only that, but the programming it was built on was so out of date that the website was starting to break as updates were being made to the backend.
I blame myself for the depreciated state it was in. After all, I’m the only one updating, maintaining, and programing the site. SO, it was finally time to do something about it. It took quite a while actually. I started on it in January 2025, but ran into a problem with the theme I had chosen to build everything on. Couple that with the burn out, repair of the Red Rocket, purchasing Nugget, moving hangars, and family life I abandoned the project for some time.
Well, a few days ago I decided to give it another shot. I quickly ran into the road block I found before. I wanted to have one site do 3 things all at once. Our primary site for information and marketing, a new store for our supporters to get merch and other goodies, and our new Find A CFI site that is going nation wide. Then it it me, I can just make 3 websites. Sounds daunting, but it would work! Each site mastering the task it was built for.

I’m proud to say that the new site is fresh, dynamic, and responsive! It’ll work flawlessly on computers, tablets, and smartphones…. in theory! If you find anything out of place, links that don’t work, or anything in Latin please let me know. I want to make sure the site provides the best experience to everyone who visits.
