We already installed the iLevel AP, but we didn't have our wings on! Now we can finish the installation of the auto pilots trim tabs. Weird part is, they're run off RC servos! Thats right, the same thing that lets you control your little remote control airplane can also control a full size plane. When I say I shouldn't have these, I mean it! I called for a little installation support and the tech had A LOT of questions on how and why I had them. LOL!!! BUT, If we want to fly the Red Rocket at night, we're going to need Nav/positioning lights, along with our beacon and landing lights. My plane had no electrical or lights when I got it. @AeroLEDS decided to help us out with the lighting part. In this video we install the their Sunbeacon II to the back of our plane with some fancy 3D printed airplane parts. This one has been a long time coming. I've been working on the plane for almost 2 years at this point and after all the hard work I get to see if my engine is good. Good as in healthy. Lets see if this thing starts, and then we'll do a pressure differential test to see if it fits Lycoming operation standards. Cross your fingers guys!
