Flight Training | Steep Turns, Slow Flight, and a Power off Stall

Another flight training session! Join me as I take my sister on her first general aviation flight to do practice some steep turns, slow flight, and even a power off stall. No supersizes here, she wanted to do a stall! So a bit about this video. I had no ATC audio. For some reason my audio recorder didn't work at all. It had batteries and even said it was recording. When I got home, there was no file. SO, I have nothing but video footage for you to enjoy. But there's a catch there. My front facing camera decided it hated shooting video. Looking into things, it will only record for 29 minutes 59 seconds at a time. But for some reason my camera was only recording for 15 minutes at a time. SO, I'm getting a new camera for the future.

Flight Training | Wind Shears, Crosswind Landings, and an Introduction to Class B Airspace

Join me on my first flight lesson in 8 months as I tackle a new CFI, and OLD airplane, and wind shears! Its been a long time since I've been behind the yoke of a plane. Well... at least one that I am in control of. With all the craziness that happened last year I had to put my flight training on hold. In this video Jackie takes me and my brother -in-law on a trip around Phoenix. But, because of some crazy wind shears we had to cut our trip short and head back to the airport. Our air speed indicator was all over the place. Bouncing from the high 40's all the way up to 110 knots! It was very bumpy to say the least. The wind just couldn't make up its mind! We had a safe landing and I learned a lot about how the wind changes the dynamics of flight.
